Isolated in the wilderness with only floatplane access, Tikchik Narrows Lodge majestically sits atop a rock knoll at the tip of a narrow peninsula separating Nuyakuk and Tikchik lakes in the heart of the 2.6 million acre Wood-Tikchik State Park in Bristol Bay. It is no wonder first time Tikchik anglers marvel at the views, sense of true wilderness and infrastructure providing “Elegance in the Wilderness,” knowing that everything had to be flown in.

Being so isolated has a heavy price tag. Everything has to be flown into the lodge (food, fuel, supplies, staff and guests). Tikchik makes over 200 fuel/freight flights in a summer. But the heavy price tag has its rewards: fantastic local fishing, amazing views and, most of all, the solitude of the wilderness. Tikchik is what you would expect in a truly wilderness lodge.

The backbone of the operation is Tikchik’s fleet of float planes, 3 De-Havilland Bears and 1 Cessna 206. They are the work horses supplying the lodge and moving our anglers to and from different fishing locations every day. Tikchik has an extensive fishing program providing it’s anglers with a variety of fishing venues. From very small streams to large rivers the fishing opportunities are endless. Tikchik does not hesitate at making special flights to accommodate its anglers request and desires.

At the heart of the operation is Tikchik’s staff of 34, who are dedicated, professional, friendly and talented. Tikchik is recognized for its exceptional customer service.
