The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum has announced that the following four men will be inducted into the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame.
Campbell is an authority on collectible fly fishing equipment, a fishing historian, the past editor of several fly fishing magazines and an author.
Gates was the proprietor of Gates Au Sable Lodge and an active conservationist.
Schmookler is an accomplished tyer known for tying the classic salmon fly. His books and magazine articles on fly tying, history and fly tying materials will be used for generations to come. Schmookler was featured in this Sports Illustrated article published in 1990.
Humphreys is recognized internationally as a fly tyer, fly fisherman, conservationist, educator, and author. Humphreys has been teaching the art of fly fishing for more than 40 years.
