Title: Hybrid Bunker
Hook: Varivas 990 or Gamakatsu SL12, sizes 1/0 to 4/0.
Thread: White 3/0 (280 denier).
Body: Three or four progressively shorter collars of bucktail, tied on the hook and squeezed on the top and sides to distribute most of hair to the bottom of the shank.
Throat: White or silver Kinky Fiber Flash Blend.
Wing topping: Darker shades of Kinky Fiber Flash Blend extending the full length of the bucktail.
Eyes: Prismatic adhesive eyes.
Head: Tuffleye or epoxy applied to cock the throat fibers at a 45-degree angle from the hook shank; the wing topping is set at about half that angle.
